Wz 35 anti tank rifle10/29/2023 In the late 1920s, the Polish General Staff began development on a lightweight anti-tank weapon for the Polish infantry. Manufactured exclusively as an anti-tank round, the 7.92×107mm's projectile was initially coated with copper, but after a series of tests, the copper coating was phased out in favor of a brass coating. The 7.92×107mm cartridge is based on the 7.92×57mm Mauser cartridge, with the casing length extended to 107mm to make for a much larger capacity for propellant, and therefore, higher muzzle velocities. The 7.92×107mm Maroszek was a Polish military rifle cartridge developed for use in the Kb ppanc wz.
